HORRIBLE experience with this merchandise Last year I utilized the H&R Block tax prep online, and this year I decisive to use the desktop version because it’s cheaper and having little impact to use.
THERE IS NO WAY TO IMPORT MY former YEAR’S RETURN from HR Block online to the desktop version. We have rental properties and some other complications so it’s crucial for me to import information from last year’s return. However, even although these are both H&R Block services there is no way to export information from the online version, or import from the online version to the desktop version.
To be clear, whether or not you’ve utilized the desktop version before you WILL be able to import your previous year’s data. This only affects users migrating from the online service to the desktop clients
I’ve got to say this entirely sours me on wanting to use HR Block at all. If I have to begin from scratch I’d instead get started with someone else than reward this lousy experience with my continued business.
I’ve liked the product and have used it loyally for years. If this is the way they treat their return clients I will not be a return customer this year or any other year.
